Report from CNHS Principal's Desk, posted on 3/18/2009 8:39:58 PM. Being gold medalists in the recently concluded MIMAROPA RAA Meet in Odiongan, Romblon February 22-26, 2009, five (5) athletes from CNHS will represent the region in the Palarong Pambansa in Tacloban City sometime in April 2009.
They are: Pamela Fondevilla (110 m hurdle, 800 m run, 4 x100 m relay), Leonard Fajanilan (800 m run, 4X100 m relay), Edmae Fabreo (triple jump), Denmark Fabriquel (catcher, baseball), and Kevin Mellendrez (pitcher baseball).
Per records of the school, triple jump regional championship has been defended by CNHS for two straight years now. It was won by Kaselyn Fallurin in 2008. All females!
In 2007, two students qualified for Palaro; in 2008 one student qualified; and this year 2009, five qualified.
